Eating: a Great Pleasure in Life~^^

This blog started simply because of my love for food
and desire to keep track of all the yummy food I've come across and share it with others!

I rave about great places I've been and amazing food I've had ALL the time to my friends and family. But when it comes to actually remembering where it was or what I had eaten, my memory seems to fail me =*(...a lot haha =P

Thus! came the purpose of this blog.
Hopefully I can help many find new and exciting places to go, break out of their regular routine and try some exotic food, and to just simply, enjoy eating more! Take time to research and savour good-tasting food! This blog will also try to give detailed directions on how to get there and maps of the restaurant locations!^^

Discovering new places and trying new things, good things-->great food, is such an exciting thing and gives me great pleasure in life; something to look forward to every day~^^

So here goes my FIRST ENTRY!

You'll be surprised to know that even though I'm from Canada and am currently once again living in Canada, I will be blogging about amazing places in Seoul, Korea, where I was last staying for the past 2 years.

1. Barbeque Duck, Gangnam Station 강남역 Exit 11
Restaurant name: 옛골토성 (pronounced 'yet gol toseong')

Lots of varieties in meat, but mainly specializes in barbeque duck! One of my favourite places to go and was also one of the last restaurants I went to right before leaving Korea.
Kind friendly staff!

Doesn't this look delicious??
And you eat it like this...in a wrap.

Dip the duck in the sauce. Put it on a marinated cabbage leaf,
and add toppings to your liking (kimchi, onions, etc).

The price is very reasonable for good quality barbequed meat
and the portion is definitely big enough to fill your stomach!
They also have combo and set menus!

Assorted meat platters 42-45,000won (~$38-41CAD). Serves 3-4 people.
Or 2 person meal 35,000won (~$32CAD) includes duck meat, cold noodles, soup, and a drink.

Directions: Head straight out of exit 11 from Gangnam Station. Walk 3 blocks until you see CGV movie theatre. The restaurant is right behind the theatre on your right.
